About
This menu is inspired by the book “Like Water For Chocolate” by Laura Esquivel and features the following dishes: Tina’s Chiles in Walnut Sauce, Guinea Hen in Rose & Chestnuts, aromatic Hot Chocolate and more.

Expanding beyond the book, we wanted to make a cookie in celebration of the coming back of the light after the winter solstice. Known as kahk, this cookie is recreated from a recipe that is said to date back to ancient Egypt. In Memphis and Thebes, carvings have been found on temples showing Egyptians preparing a cookie, also in Giza, an ancient recipe was found on the walls of the great pyramid; at the time the cookies were decorated with sun disks and symbols of Solar deities.

Cost of Dinner
The cost of the pre fixe menu is $98/person (does not include tax or gratuity) and will be billed in-person at completion of your meal. À la carte drink menu is available at an additional price.

No Show Fee / Cancellation Policy

We kindly ask that you provide at least 24hrs notice when cancelling your reservation. Buffalo Dreamer will charge $98.00 per person (pre fixe dinner price without tax or tip) when guests do not arrive for the reservation or cancel less than 24 hours from time of reservation. To cancel your reservation, email us at buffalodreamerfoods@gmail.com or call (605)745-6100 and leave a detailed message.

Dietary Restrictions & Allergies

Chef Rebecca is happy to accommodate your dietary needs if given at least 48 hours notice in advance of your meal. Upon making your reservation, be sure to provide any dietary requests in the form at checkout or email buffalodreamerfoods@gmail.com.
